Fueled by the housing bubble- not anything remotely sustainable.

Ah, the good old days, eh.

Both the House and Senate opposed Bush 1 during his term.

In contrast, the House was with Bush 2, 6/8 years and the Senate 4/8 years.

And many of those small businesses which were flourishing were paying higher tax rates. Which means they were reluctant to hire more employees to expand their business.

Taking jabs at my Uncle is unnecessary.

Internet boom and capital gains tax cut.

Remember, also, that the GDP growth of one quarter in 2004 was over 7%; the highest GDP growth since 1984 under another Republican president.

John F. Kennedy was a strong president. He was tough speaking against communism and had to deal with Khrushchev . JFK had to negotiate with the Russians and the nulear missiles aimed at us in Cuba. We were at the brink of nuclear war and it was JFK who was strong enough to face the Russian leader . He was very respected by all Americans in the times of tension during the cold war.

In those days we had duck and cover for fear of a nuclear war. It was no laughing matter.

He didn't keep "pounding" the right. You'd be surprised how many liberals see him as a push over too quick to try to deal.
