Well the bill was sold on the 45 million who didn't have healthcare. Why not address that to start with? Many chose not to acquire healthcare and are now forced to. Many were already eligible for healthcare programs at state and fed levels and didn't sign up. Why not get folks signed up, leave alone the folks who don't want healthcare and just create a pre existing thing for folks who fall into that category to begin with? Oh no that's not good enough the fed has to take over everything with a bill written by lobbyists that nobody read.

I just saw where Obama just signed an exec order for national aids testing. DNA database will be along soon. That info will be shared with the DOJ and other federal entities as spelled out in that order. Now why does the DOJ need to know if I have aids or not? You see there is much more at play in this thing then whether somebody gets healthcare insurance or not. I wonder if congress will be exempt from this exec order like they are from obamacare?

Cry about a lot of things when it comes to health care, but not because you might have to change Dr's. That's just a fact of life.
That's not the problem....what did obama say.....

When your Dr decides to "change" or fall out of some group as you say....is not the same as...you can keep your dr....

Now is it?

Haha, you've been one of the biggest supporters of Obamacare, telling everyone who pointed out the problems with it that they were wrong.. Now you're moving onto, its a failure, but everyone who said it was from the beginning is to blame.

What a tool

Insurance companies will be the big losers when they have to insure everyone no matter what is wrong with them. I can just pay the fine for a couple years and get sick and go sign up for insurance and they have to insure me. They pay for my treatment and then I cancel and pay the fine again. How long can they stay in business when folks realize this?

Those 2.3 million won't be getting any vacation since they will be part time now.

"In Lafayette, Ind., a school district cut the hours of 200 support staff to no more than 29 per week. In Bangor, Maine, the school system is preparing to track and cap the number of hours worked by substitute teachers to ensure that they don't work more than 29 hours a week. Elsewhere, in Portland, Maine, a small business reduced a part-time employee's hours from 35 to 29.
We are hearing reports like this from across the country. Why is this happening?
It's happening because under the Affordable Care Act a "full-time employee" is defined as anyone working an average of 30 hours a week, rather than the traditionally accepted 40-hour work week. Employers with more than 50 full-time employees or full-time equivalents will be required to provide their employees with health insurance or potentially face a financial penalty, essentially a fine.
This rule is causing a growing number of employers to cut the hours of their workers, and according to one study by the UC Berkeley Labor Center, at least 2.3 million workers are at risk. This provision of the health law is not in the best interests of the country, and it needs to change."

"Our idiot leaders now trying to fix the mess they created with Obamacare"

While watching the IRS hearings yesterday, Elanor Norton, Democrat from D.C. was trying to excuse the IRS because the tax cde is so difficlt amd I immediatly thought of. "We have to pass it so we can find out what is in it".

The don't seem to think the same way on any 2 issues.

They pass thousands of pages of laws (without reading them) then complain when it is complicated.

But as San Fran Nan said oh so eloquently............well we all know what she said.
Registered Lobbyists write most legislation. The parts that Congress writes are anonymous, usually written during the wee hours, behind closed committee doors. Most people call it pork.

Yep the same IRS that will come after you if you don't sign up for healthcare. Who would have thought our country would ever come to this?

"Bush and Republicans ignored the health care crisis for 8 horrific years"

2 points.

1. Bush had the dems control Congress for the last 2 of those years. Why didn't the dems introduce something in those 2 years.

2. There was/is NO crisis.

I've posted the solution no less than 100 times. Lunatics just want free healthcare, they don't care if they pay $20 for Advil as long as someone else pays. In short, do the following:

1] ban hospital cartels.
2] limit ownership of hospitals to one per Metropolitan Statistical Area.
3] repeal Section 6001 of Obamacare and encourage the development of highly specialized clinics (like Europe).
4] end all employer and employee tax subsidies
5] repeal all State "insurance" regulations except those regarding Capitalization and Liquidity.
6] Let/force insurance companies compete across state lines.
7] Outlaw price collusion among hospitals and enforce antitrust laws. Hospitals shouldn't be immune to antitrust regulations.
