Lets not even talk elevators, maybe it is being paranoid, but i trust no man on a elevator with me, if i am alone. If i am with other people that scenario changes drastically.

Terrible way to live i know, but too many crazy people living in this world today.

This should be about men in general, and not singaling out one race of men. In todays crazy whacko world, even women cannot be trusted.

i only brought up blacks in reference to obamas speech.

in hindsight i should not have created the poll because the results were never going to be accurate.

every racialist conservative male will vote yes, while i think many liberal men would respect my decision to only let females vote, which is why the poll is pointless.

the discussion though in this thread has been solid so far.

This thread is discriminatory.

The OP has violated Harrier's civil rights.

Someone call Eric Holder.

Of course.

Reptiles. Jars they can't open. Buying a car. Majoring in math.

Women should be afraid of people who want to tell her what she can do with her body. They should be afraid of politicians who try and legislate their morality and religion. They should be afraid because the glass ceiling still exists and pay equity has never been achieved. Instead they're afraid of reptiles. And of black men. (Who are probably on the elevator because they don't want to walk up and down the stairs any more then the white woman who clutches her purse and gets off as soon as she sees a guy with dreads.)

I've waited for another elevator when there's just one man on it, or got off when it wasn't my floor if I'm uncomfortable. You have to trust your gut. I'm not a nervous nelly at all, but bad stuff does happen, so why take unnecessary chances? That's not being paranoid--that's being smart.

It depends...if he's a crack head looking, droopy drawers, dreadlocked bugged eyed filthy person then yes, I would be nervous and watchful. If he looks like a normal human being then Im less likely to put up my guard.

Exactly, in todays workd, it is called being intuitive and trusting ones gut. Has nothing to do, with being paranoid all the time.

HAVING had two relatives murdered for no reason, other then the hell of it, i trust no one today.

One stabbed to death over and over again, one shot point blank in the head, ask me, if i am a trusting peson.

And yes bad things do happen, and sometimes to those who are so trust worthy.
And there are bad evil women out there working with bad evil men.

I voted no. To me its a gender thing rather than a race thing. Some guys just gives out the wrong vibe. It has nothing to do with if they wear a hoodie or not.
