Yes that makes sense because more than 90percent of blacks in office are Republican and vote Republican.

George Wallace became very popular with blacks later in his career.
Why is that all those Presidents you mention are among the most respected? With the acception of Lincoln, not nearly as many popular presidents were Republican.Well at least not popular in a good way.Nixon and G.W.Bush come to mind.Srry but you are delusional.

Last time I checked the minorities serving the highest elected office in the south are all Republican. Gov. Jindal of Louisiana, Gov. Haley of SC, Sen. Scott of SC, Sen. Cruz of TX, and Sen. Rubio of FL.

Woodrow Wilson was a racist, fascist disgrace. LBJ was one of the worst Presidents of the 20th Century. FDR was a disaster until the war and if it weren't for the war, he would rank low among the Presidents.

Nixon, a progressive Republican was awful. Ditto another prog. Republican Herbert Hoover. George W. Bush was an average President, who keeps looking better by the day with America's worst President being his replacement. Obama has been a disaster domestically and globally.

I suppose I should have said prominent well known cities.
