"The initial talking points ran six paragraphs long and said the crowd was a mix of individuals, but 'that being said, we do know that Islamic extremists with ties to al-Qaida participated in the attack.' The talking points went on to recount attacks against other countries’ diplomatic missions in Benghazi and raised the prospect that the U.S. facilities were 'previously surveilled' in anticipation of the attack. By the time the talking points were approved a day later, they had been reduced to three paragraphs and any hint of terrorists or planning had been scrubbed. The final version said the attack was the culmination of 'demonstrations' that were 'spontaneously inspired' by protests at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo earlier Sept. 11, though it did acknowledge 'indications that extremists participated in the violent demonstrations'...A page-by-page examination of administration emails documenting the editing of the talking points shows a final product that got the facts wrong, but dovetailed with President Obama’s campaign-mode narrative that a mob angry over an American video committed the attack."

Emails reveal how accuracy was scrubbed out of Benghazi 'talking points' - Washington Times

Do you realize that not a single survivor has testified before Congress, yet? This scandal isn't over. I still don't understand why the peeps don't testify before the honchos in any scandal including the IRS. Is it so the honchos can be exposed as liars?

None of the scandals are 'over'.

O thinks if he is silent they'll blow over. Unlikely. More scandals will emerge over the next year or so.

It might not go away, but unless you fire up the public, they won't care at election time.

I would have never accepted an assignment in an unguarded compound in Indian Country. That incident was an exercise in complete thoughtless absurdity. There is no place in all of Arabia Westerners can consider themselves safe from fanatics. There may be no place in the world.

Other more sensational and exploitable events grab the headlines and divert the public's fleeting attention...sometimes even from the Bachelorette.

Clearly Obama has committed criminal acts in Benghazi and the IRS scandal.

However, Obama will NEVER be implicated in either scandal, as he has complicent senators/congressmen and an adoring media to protect him.

Obama could rape a 6 year old boy on the desk of the Oval Office and get away with it. He is a president who is "above the law".

When are the next scheduled Hearings?

Don't blame the public if the people intrused with investigation are missing. We should not have to keep harping for Congress to do thier jobs.

What is Benghazi? LOL. Anything you can do to try and slam the president that America elected twice, huh? Your guys couldn't win? Maybe time for a hobby? I've heard knitting can be fun!

I believe it was well thought out, but poorly executed.

Clearly? I don't think that word means what you think it does. There is no evidence whatsoever of any wrongdoing, let alone criminal acts. The same is even more true with the IRS -- even what Republicans charge didn't even happen.
