In response to Patton, both liberals and conservatives fight over controlling the way Americans think. I think it's naive for either side to believe that their side is the more "moral/right" side. Both sides have good and bad aspects.

Good luck with your moral relativism and situational ethics as you watch America continue to circle the bowl.

At least my country hasn't devolved into a police state. Go fly your flag.

Actually America is "circling the bowl" due to those like yourself who view their perspectives as the highest virtues. America's most successful periods in history took place when both dems and reps engaged in a lot of negotiation.

Canada....America's hat. Haha!
Now I know where you get your view on geopolitics. Try turning off The Simpsons once in awhile.

If it is true that ignorance is bliss, then liberals would have to be much happier. For the rest of us, certain harsh and undesirable aspects of modern times puts a damper on the enthusiasm of those who are more informed and intelligent.

Liberal friends tend to have more wealth and more leisure time with nicer houses.

Conservative friends tend to be living in the less nice homes and lacking higher education leading to having to work multiple/low paying jobs. They're also the ones who after high school started pumping out the babies.

"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference."

^^ This is why I am happy.

Not really.

Liberals are the aggressors here because they want to control how people think(aka the PC police).

Conservatives mostly just want to keep liberals from controlling how their children think.

Generally doesn't happen. Blue states are paying for everything in the US. With exception of a few, red states lack productivity.
