I don't hate him but I disagree with his policies and think him a poor leader as president.

That might be a better thread. What is there about Obama that makes you like him?
Hmmm.. Well, he's worse at picking winning teams than I am, and I'm not the best.
Other than that.... No, I got nothing.

He's no fraud in academics. He attended and excelled at Harvard (which is an "okay" school). But that doesn't make him a good president.

Can you provide me with exact post numbers.

I would really like to see exactly what you are talking about.
I have read a lot of posts about Obama on here. Him, personally, and his ...managerial style. I have seen people express anger, vehement disagreement, total dissatisfaction, contempt, disappointment, and a few other things. But not, actual hatred. I HAVE seen, actual hatred, come out is posts on other issues. The thpical hot button ones. But, I can't recall any real, "deep rooted" , as it was put, hatred. That type of posting sticks witb me, and I , usually, remember it.

Obamas character is much impugned, often deservedly so, imho, by those who disagree with him. His methodology leaves much to be desired, and he, again, imo, is arrogant, at a stellar level. I cannot find it in me, to be willing to follow the man. I dont respect him. But, I don't hate him. I think, this is the case with most of us who find ourselves opposite his views and policies.

broken promises. he promised change and end to war
he has given
massive irreversable debt
continued warfare. he replaced regular army with blackwater and called it a withdrawal.
he is leading a lynch mob same as the old south, but only the colors are reversed.
he agrees that the right of self defense should be outlawed but wants to disarm only a portion of the population, us.

I can understand disagreeing with his ideologies or not being satisfied with his tenure up to date, but I'm trying to understand where all this deep rooted hate for him stems from.

That's really it.
A disdain for his thinking.

Hate is a strong word, I don't hate the man, but I simply cannot get past the fact he's from Illinois... I grew up in down south Illinois (thankfully no more!) and do HATE Illinois/ Chicago politics. I knew from the day he came on the scene that we were looking at Chicago style politics. Do the names Rod Blagojevich, George Ryan, Dan Rostenkowski and a host of others mean anything?

Capone probably could have done a better job than 3/4's of the bozo's that have graced Springfield or Chicago either one!
