You think that the press conference was the reason they may be receiving threats? And you want to harp on about common sense? Even if it was a "PR stunt", in what reality does it make sense to make death threats over?. "Now, I don't condone death threats but they were gonna hold a press conference". And yet you won't to lecture others on common sense?.
The reason for the threats is that the lunatic left thinks the family is aiding Zimmerman by "staging" the accident.
I didn't say anything about the trustworthiness of the media, that is for a different thread, keep your deflections to yourself.

No family member directly said anything to the media because they doesn't want to get anymore involved.
So he hasn't in fact recieved any death threats but he is afraid that is a possibility? Just wanted to clear that up. I believe his fears are unfounded but I wish people would quit spreading lies on this and other forums.
