Yea, I don't care to go into space....

I don't care how corny or how much of a curmudgeon anybody may think I am...

two things can happen.... 1 - we encounter extraterrestrial life and we rape them over and wipe them out (like tons of cultures did in America)

or

2 - We totally get bent over and enslaved.

Curiosity killed the cat....

Business must always GROW. If it stops it fails.

This would be a good way to convince the Wall Street thieves to fund space research instead of war.

One would think all these global warming loons who do so love mother earth would be taking all that money they are stealing from folks to fund space programs. An asteroid already hit the big blue ball once. One would think earth lovers would want to avoid such a scenario which is much more likely to wipe us out than the seas rising or greenland melting. I guess they don't care if one hits again as long as it's cool outside.

The need for space, noted above, isn't one out of pure economic gain but one of survival. We are on a cork in the ocean. . .and the cork can sink. Maybe we should diversify.

Global warming won't hurt our ability to live on this planet. . .there are things far worse than man made climate change

Well we will be hit by an asteroid at some point. They can track em and all nowdays but if the "big one" is on it's way there aint anything we can do about it right now. Going to the moon or Mars or what have you to hop around and play with rocks I'm not for at this point but waiting around until one does come onto the radar then trying to figure out what to do about it is a recipe for disaster. Plus Bruce Willis and his drilling crew are getting old.
