There are a few reasons for the growth of the terrorist group, Mr. Jones argues. “One is the Arab uprisings, which have weakened regimes across North Africa and the Middle East, creating an opportunity for Al Qaeda affiliates and allies to secure a foothold.”
Time to give up more freedoms and $$$ at home so we can slay this beast lol
Funny when you think of it: you are paying billions of dollars to the government so they can use that money against you by eroding your rights and freedoms, like with the current action taken against James Risen.
We're going to forget about Iraq and let it get taken over by the extremists.
It was never about democracy "for the people". It was about getting Saddam out of the way to save the petrodollar.
Same goes for Libya.
And as the continual car bombings in Iraq remind us we're being greeted as liberators I guess we should be smugly pleased, eh?
Abandoning them completely wasn't such a great idea was it?
Neither will completely abandoning Afghanistan.
