However, Q18 of the poll concludes that 56% think that Republicans in Congress are too inflexible dealing with Pres. Obama.

Ah, another thread in which a person makes the soul-expanding discovery that Congress is not well-liked!

Mark Twain spoke often of Congress during his time:

"It could probably be shown by facts and figures that there is no distinctly native American criminal class except Congress"

"Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But I repeat myself."

“Fleas can be taught nearly anything that a Congressman can.”

This. I just don't understand how the consensus is overwhelmingly dissatisfied with congress, yet incumbents will still be reelected by large margins. A cycle of stupidity on both sides.

But I digress, because the bigger issue is the constituents who hold the congressmen at gunpoint to ridiculous ideals, preventing them from engaging in any sort of negotiation with the other side.

1) Term Limits- 2) End Gerrymandering 3)Corporations ARE NOT PEOPLE.

Many problems solved. Less divisiveness at the top.

That's what's wrong with that particular poll, always has been.

My guy/girl/it is great but everyone else sucks.

... and they use the same old reason. "I have EXPERIENCE and the SENIORITY to get things done and get on the best committes!!" .
