While I think not have enough can be miserable for most ;it can not itself make you happy as we have seen time and again with suicides of well of people.

No, it doesn't. But having a certain standard of living certainly does help. Lack of financial security is never, ever good. But that's different than saying that money "buys happiness"

Money may not buy happiness, but it sure can stave off a whole lot of misery. Those who insist otherwise have generally never really had to go without it (and the basics it provides) in any serious way.

It can make life better or easier, but it can't buy happiness. You can have too little money and be happy just like you can have a ****load of money and be miserable. Depends on what your priorities are. I don't ever want to be rich. It gets lonely when you're at the top

According to The Beatles happiness is a warm gun.

Actually, print media is dying for reasons other than that you don't like their opinions or conclusions about certain topics.

You're a fool if you think there is not a level of income after which it brings you no further contentment. You will actually see with some of our mega-rich, at least the ones with some depth. At some point, they realize that they can't take it with them and that, as Harry Chapin often said, "Money is for people." They find they get more joy from giving it away than hoarding it.

Yes, but they also thought everyone's got something to hide but their monkeys.

money cant buy happiness, the only thing it can do is allow for most comfort. true happiness comes from with in. you can have all the money in the world and be miserable, and you can have virtually no money and be on top of the world. the rich have their problems also, they are just much larger than the problems the less fortunate have.

I'm sorry, can you explain this one more time? This doesn't make any sense to me.
