So now you're calling women hysterical for fighting attempts to outlaw abortion, or laws that demand they go through COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY MEDICAL PROCEDURES in order to do a legal procedure? Nice.
Nope - fight on. I'm talking about the methods of fighting.

What makes you think politicians throwing each other under the bus has anything to do with gender?
And apparently never will. We see it, in this forum and on the news, how the GOP is trying to parlay the latest scandals as a Democratic Party War on Women, while completely misunderstanding what that phrase means. And the usual suspects lap it up and beg for more. Keep it up, GOP, this stupidity will cost you. A good Op Ed in the Post.
You can’t say Republicans lack for chutzpah. The cynical right-wing message-men have come up with a new insult to our intelligence – and to millions of US women. As Buzzfeed reported Friday, Republicans are now spinning a series of scandals to try to prove the Democrats are the party with the real “War on Women.” That’s just silly, and they know it.
...To the contrary, the GOP has shown nothing but disdain for the real needs of actual women. Consider what the party stands for: Allowing bosses and insurance companies to discriminate against women; forcing raped women to carry their rapist’s fetus; requiring insurance coverage for Viagra but not for the pill; defunding Planned Parenthood, Head Start, childcare, and services for domestic abuse victims; conscripting doctors to violate women with medically unnecessary (and thus punitive) procedures; and redefining rape so more rapists walk free. That’s an awful agenda, and women know it.
Sorry, but I diverge with the Planned Parenthood funding. If you want to abort your child, do it on your own money, not the taxpayers'.
Because it's been politicized and gets a certain amount of government funding for the non-abortion part.
Once government gets involved every single taxpayer has their right to an opinion of how their tax money is being spent.
Kick the government out and get rid of all USG subsidies and then no one has the right to tell any woman what to do anymore.
Then why aren't we demanding invasive, unnecessary procedures before ANY medical procedure that receives some kind of taxpayer funding? Sterilization covered by Medicaid, for example? I think jamming something up the appropriate orifice before the procedure is performed should be mandated.
I never stated any opinion on any legislative action; you jumped to that conclusion. I talked about the "debate technique" of things like "war on women" and using as an example something that is already done in most abortion clinics and is less invasive than the procedure iteself.
