Howard Dean, former DNC chairman said

"The IPAB is essentially a health-care rationing body. By setting doctor reimbursement rates for Medicare and determining which procedures and drugs will be covered and at what price, the IPAB will be able to stop certain treatments its members do not favor by simply setting rates to levels where no doctor or hospital will perform them."

So what is your life worth to the government?

Whatever I PERSONALLY can afford to pay I guess? Thankfully I've not been in the position but I wouldn't expect millions to be paid by any insurance company to keep me or anyone else alive. That's about as detailed as I can get.

Just because we CAN doesn't mean we SHOULD.
