Religion of peace and tolerance right there. Still, who cares? The ME isn't our problem, if they embrace a silly superstion, pray to a pedophile profit and want to stay mired in the 9th century, let 'em. Sucks to be a thinking person there...but still, not our problem.

Default Saudi Arabian man receives 600 lashes + 7 year prison for insulting Islam on blog

Separation of church and state is a good thing.

All of us born in the USA should feel very fortunate.

Are you complaining about the punishment or that it's a crime at all? The punishment is disgusting, but trying to criminalize people's actions according to your religious view is something the Christian Conservative/Religious Right fringe is still trying to do today.

How many states have enforced anti-sodomy laws in the past decade? The only difference between that & what Saudi Arabia's doing is the punishment. The mentality is parallel.

It's funny how America looks the other way when it comes to Saudi Arabia (oil) They are far worse than Iran or Iraq.

Though this is obvious and surely commented on, 600 lazhes is a death sentence. Prison time is irrelevant. Welcome to Islam.
