It's an aberration, as many things are, so let's just accept it as such. Each person is responsible for their own behavior, but please don't ask me to accept it, endorse it, or embrace and approve of it. I'm growing weary of people insisting that I do.
It's certainly in the minority, so it's an anomaly, deviation from the norm.

so? I said as much; there are many examples of deviation from the norm in our culture and in society at large. That fact by itself doesn't make them all desirable.
Why is this of interest? Was there also a rally for those who used to beat off? Is it any of my business what other consenting adults do sexually or did sexually? All I would say about it is that I hate it when folks try to make it my business--such as with "rallies" pro, anti, whatever on any sort of sexual behavior. I don't care. I'd rather watch the grass grow.
I agree. Especially in cases like this. But I think all the attention and rallying, aside from attempting to correct us all politically, is also about attaining certain amenities of American citizenship.

People are "gay" or they are not, much the same as those with Red Hair or those who are Left Handed.

Many left handed persons can be trained to use right hand to do most things, especially if the training starts early. Just a fact.

Learning how to read and do math is against most children's will. But we force them to do so.
