I've never seen that on a ballot whenever I voted in my community.
You mean to say municipalities, cities, states are now offering voters a chance to say yea/nay on raising-lowering property taxes?
If you're saying "should" you should have typed "would" because that'll never happen.
You raise an excellent point. Generally speaking, residents of a community do not vote on taxes.
Referendums may or may not require a public vote. Mileage varies, community to community.

Sell all roads to the highest bidders so they can impose tolls every .5 mile to maintain and replace them, when necessary.
Eliminate water.
Eliminate storm sewers.
Eliminate waste sewers.
Eliminate garbage pick-up in those places that include it in property taxes.
Eliminate all zoning laws.
Sounds like a plan to create a third world community.

Funny where has all the money to keep and maintain them, where has it gone?
You try that in your area and see how that turns out.
I know how it would turn out, but that isn't the point. Just because you have a society of people who have been riding the backs of others doesn't make that a just system, but then.. these days, your money is my money right? Isn't that the mentality of people today?
