FOX News - Politics - Latest Headlines - Teamsters ordered to stop picketing funeral homes - Page 1 of 2

Judge ordered them to stop because they were harassing families attending the funerals, including the funeral of a child. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the backbone of the modern Democratic Party.

Hey looks like the teamsters took a page from the Westbro Baptist Church.

Stay classy unions!

Would love to know WHY they were protesting at a funeral. But, as usual, right wing news omit facts from stories as long as unions get bashed. Nobody protests a funeral just for the fun of it. No teamsters protested at my grandfather's or nephew's funeral, so let's cut the crap and get down to the bottom of it

What would be a good reason to protest at a funeral?

What does it matter what I think? I want some facts, something that the article omitted

I'm commenting on why Fox News deliberately left out why they were protesting. Since this is supposed to be journalism, it's a valid criticism to make

Of course unlike your thread title: Unions protesting funerals

The article clearly states they were protesting funeral homes.

I guess you thought being truthful might interfere with your agenda, eh?

I found one other article on it. They're protesting funeral homes, all right, but apparently they are also doing it during funerals. I find this reprehensible. Plus they rejected a 9% pay hike before getting to this point.

Of course, this is an outlier, just like the Westboro Baptist Church. But it won't stop the cons on this board from using it to represent all unions, all the time. Oh well.

They are unionized workers for these funeral homes, they have a right to picket but doing it during a funeral is a bit overboard don't you think?

Had you read the article you would know why.
