If you want to reset your life because you feel like you are living a lie, either disappear and stay disappeared or better yet, let everyone know what and why you are doing what you are doing and fix it.
This guy decided to be selfish and hurt his wife and daughters, back when he first left and now even more so since the insurance company wants its money back. If I was the wife and daughters I would sue the hell out of this man until he wishes he had stayed "dead".
ooo I saw this last night on 20/20 and I was so mad. I am a big supporter of gay people, but an a**hole is an a**hole whether he sleeps with women or men. I completely agree with his daughter. he is selfish for what he did and to use his orientation as an excuse is pathetic. does he really think he was the first married family man to realize he was gay? most of them did not abandon their children.

I don't think he's evil (I hope not at least), but he didn't make the most holy of choices.
I was married with two kids when I came to terms with being gay. I can't say the thought of what this guy did didn't cross my mind. Society/religious pressures on you to live a lie really messes with your head. Luckily, I got help and only walked away with a drinking problem (sober 4 years now) and a lingering inability to let people love me. What he did was wrong, but he's as much a victim as a jerk.

I agree. He is a coward and a jerk. BTW I have a gay friend that is divorced from his wife yet loves to keeping in touch with his child. At least my friend has much better principals than that guy.
His happiness should have never come at the expense of his children
