Of course they take care of dirty work the world over and Benghazi was likely a failed operation out of hundreds that succeed. The CIA doesn’t owe you any answers because that’s the definition of secret covert ops. If you have a problem with this, work with your fellow citizens to dismantle the CIA in its entirety rather than complaining about individual operations and placing political spins on them.

So you're saying the CIA is a rouge outfit doing whatever they want on a whim regardless of Foreign Policy or permissions to the Administration by Congress?

Yes, Obama bears responsibility.

If Obama were truly uninformed about it you'd think he would have done something to clear his office of this. You'd think he'd find out who ok'd it and serve justice.
You have to go back into the Obama Administration history to find the "power".
When it's about "Terrorism" - look to John Brennan You will find more about John Brennan from the Leftists than you will from the Right or GOP. Obama is known for his "inner circle" and those he "trusts". John Brennan is very, very powerful - let's not forget that the Senate confirmed him while they knew all this - our system has some real problems. They just confirmed Samantha Power as the Untied States Ambassador to the United Nations - she has a 20 year history of stating her anti-American convictions .......the Confirmation hearings didn't even make the City Data forums.

John Brennan’s new power
President Obama's counter-terrorism chief has "seized the lead" in secretly determining who will die by US drone.
Salon -BY GLENN GREENWALD

And this one ......

The Seven Deadly Sins of John Brennan - Foreign Policy Magazine
What Obama's high priest of targeted killings doesn't want you to know.

Isn't it interesting - Brennan is now the CIA Director, Petraeus was forced to "retire" after the NSA, FBI, DOJ had a "little talk" with him two days after the 2012 election. Brennan was front and center after the Undie Bomber attack (5 days after the attack, the Obama finally spoke), he was front and center after the Usama Bin Laden killing (most of what he said was later disproved) - they say he is the last man in the room with Obama after any Security meeting. Brennan has been with Obama since 2008. Samantha Power has also been a close "advisor" since 2007 ..... he is slowly moving very close insiders into all the positions of power and the Senate gives them a Rubber Stamp.

They are indeed making it worse. It's too bad we didn't stop it before he had a chance to build upon the mess.

These articles are missing quite a bit of information regarding what the CIA actually did in Benghazi, more speculation than facts.

Well at least 2 out of 3 - Rumsfeld and Cheney, they may have been educated but they were certainly out of their league.

LBJ had a large amount of backers after his Red Flag event expanding Vietnam but we don't bring that up in every thread.
Again, my response was in response to someone saying this was a problem with "liberals". It is but it's not just a problem with liberals.

Powell has regretted his actions. Can you tell me why we spent 10 years in Iraq? I ask this over and over in many threads and I never get an answer.

For that, why have we spent 12 years in Afghanistan? How was this wise?
