Thankfully the NSA is still doing a good job. Thanks President Obama.

This is a Susan Rice purposefull distraction to take attention away from all the "phony" scandals. Nixon did a DEFCON 3 Alert to divert attention from Watergate, but it didn't work.

This is just an attempt of the administration at trying to look competent and awake-at-the-wheel after Benghazi and to give the media and American people a distraction from all the scandals.

This alert has nothing to do with the phony Benghazi scandal. It has to do with apparent credible specific threat or threats.

Tell the families of those that died that it's phony.

I am quite sure the families are trying to deal with their loss and could care less about some people's perceived political gains from characterizing the the tragedy as some sort of coverup scandal. In fact, I seem to recall some family members saying as much.

You might want to read up about Benghazi. It was more than "just a terrorist attack". It goes deeper.

Right. Obama & Co. felt that things were heating up over the scandals and getting too close to home so they needed a way to deflect from the scandals, so they came up with this brilliant idea to create a terrorist threat and to make it look real, close down 22 embassies/consulates, possibly for a week or longer and issue travel warnings to Americans that will be in effect until the end of August.

On the other hand, when Bush was in office it was detected that there was going to be an attack on the US. Just chatter they said. No need to dig deeper. No need to investigate. No need for the FBI and the CIA and any other agencies to sit down and work together to see if there was anything credible. And look what happened.

I guess you think the threat of a terrorist attack on an embassy or embassies, or harm could come to Americans living overseas should be taken lightly since you are safe and tucked away in your little rose garden.

Guess I'm not the only one seeing things this way; Obama is projecting weakness.

Graham: Al Qaeda 'on steroids' since Benghazi attack

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) - “I had a briefing with the vice president and it is scary,” Graham said on CNN's "State of the Union." “Al Qaeda is on the rise in this part of the world.”

“They attacked our consulate, they killed an ambassador, a year has passed, and nobody has paid a price,” he added. “After Benghazi, these al Qaeda types are really on steroids thinking we’re weaker and they’re stronger.”
