Well 65 doesn't do anything for them as SS is now 66.
But the SS reports don't back that up. We are not seeing 300,000 new signups for SS every month are we ?

From SS here's how many are getting SS. That was not a 300,000 increase.

May: 54,265,000
June: 54,274,000

SS puts out a monthly statistical report. All you need to do is look at the breakdown.
SS does not compare nor report increases month over month. You have to do it yourself.

The number do not back up "everyone's retiring" at all.

Poverty at highest rate in over 50 years.

All these numbers are worse since Obama declared that the recovery had started....what a joke.
1. Recovery is an economic term, the President does not declare it.

2. Your argument of things being worse is wrong, All of these things are either normal or based on age.

Food stamps always hit an all time high, that happens almost every year. poverty has gone up in Red states, down in blue states( states with Democratic control in 2 of the following 3( House, Senate, Governor)), Maybe republicans should run their states better ???

People between 25 and 84 are going back to college by choice. Last spring, i sat in a Business Stats class with atleast 7 people over 40.

Why exactly are you pointing out only white males ?????

Your argument that Hours and wages went down is wrong as well. If you create 10 jobs that pay 8.00 and 1 job that pays 14.00 then obviously the average pay will drop, the same goes for hours when those 10 are part time and the 1 is full time.

I swear, it is like Republicans forget basic math when they think they see an attack point.

You can begin to receive SS benefits at 62, You can begin full retirement benefits at 65. 66 is the age where the workable hours kicks in.

Less then 10,000 applied for SS between May and June.

I debunked your talking point. And you need to fix it because 66 is the new age for SS.

During the campaign, Romney said he would create 12 million jobs in the next 4 years. He did not mention what % might be full vs. part time or compensation. Independent economists noted that 12 million jobs would be created no matter who was elected. They too declined to talk full vs. part time or comp.

Government, federal, state, county and municipal has been the largest employer in the U.S. for serious decades. All sectors have been and are expected to continue to shed jobs.

Next up, is retail and food services. Employment in these sectors has trended part time, since forever due to peak/non peak consumption hours.

The purpose of technology is job elimination. No need to employ masses of people when machines can do. Technology and competition have permanently changed the global employment picture.

Telephone operators
Bank tellers
Reporters
Printers
Loan officers/underwriters
Computer operators
Travel agents
File clerks
Secretaries
Data entry clerks
Fast food cooks
Anything postal
Factory workers
Farmers

Sucking equity out of homes and using it to live beyond one's means floated the economy for a blip in time.

Hey, if you want to blame Obama or Bush or Clinton or Reagan, be my guest. Those who choose to adapt and reinvent themselves, will likely have better outcomes than those who expect government to create a job for them.

You didnt debunk my point, you didnt even post anything to back up your claim.

You also need to realize that retired and applied for SS are not one in the same. BOOM!
