It doesn't have to be a gene, although we don't know with certainty yet that it's not. It could be neonatal hormonal influences or a number of other biological factors.
The article goes over that. But long story short the lady has contacted authorities and there is an investigation that is on going.
It appears the incident occurred on 7/30. Mom made contact with the Police on 8/3 and reportedly the Police are investigating. I cannot imagine how much Police time is spent on stuff like this that cannot go anywhere.
Mom was likely too shocked to contact the Police when the incident happened, when there was a greater opportunity to catch this man and press charges.
The man is lucky she did not react to the threat with a gun.
oh boy... I'm sorry but if I have a son he will not wear pink bows and dresses out in public. I get it.. the kid is young and likes to wear crazy stuff. That's what the house is for...
I'm sorry... my kid won't be wearing a princess outfit to school or dressing him/herself when they are 2.

It just seems a bit fishy to me. If anyone touched my kid, he/she would be meeting the floor quickly. My foot would be on his/her neck while I dialed 911.
I agree. using your children, seems more like using your sons these days, to do these stupid social experiments should be considered child abuse, IMO. These hipster, trendy parents that raise their sons with these alternative and strange beliefs and behavior patterns are setting them up for failure later in life
Child abuse? Strange beliefs?
Ooooh, letting your small son wear a pink headband is akin to voodoo. Strange and scary.
Boo!
Once again, you show you have no clue what you are talking about. - Do you really know so little about human developmental stages?
If I had been in the same line, I would have stayed by the mother's side and got someone to get store security. I would have been happy to give a witness statement and would have encouraged her to report the incident to the police.
Interesting that no one followed the guy and took his license plate #.

If you want to put your children in a box, stifle their creativity and self-expression, knock yourself out.
My son wore his hair down to his waist until the age of about 15. Didn't hurt him any. It's just hair.
He turned out to a great young man.
