This phony scandal is your responsibility because you voted for the jug-eared coward not just once, but twice.

And they have been doing this for MANY YEARS!! (Snowden (If he even exists) DID NOT REVEAL SOMETHING NO ONE KNEW WAS GOING ON))

That's not the cookie jar and Uncle Sam was able to get his whole hand up there!

Uncle Sam from the world war era is morphing into a creepy touchy-feely Uncle Sam.

As usual Democracy Now does a very good report covering this story. It's about 16 minutes long but well worth watching as Amy Goodman actually interviews one of the writers of the Reuters piece.

The single most troubling thing to my mind is finding out that the CIA is involved in domestic police investigations. That's not within their charter and in many ways puts them at odds with the FBI which means there's unnecessary redundancy and possibly even conflict. Let's be clear, the CIA is there to neutralize foreign threats and protect US interests abroad; thus having them go after drug dealers (responsibility of the DEA), money launderers (handled by FBI and Treasury) and gun runners (covered by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms) is perplexing to say the least.

With all this and the fact that DNI James Clapper no longer feels he’s accountable to Congress all we can conclude is that the Intelligence apparatus in our country has gone rogue.

That's a stupid statement as the exact same thing was going on under Bush as we all well know. I am extremely disappointed that Obama didn't dismantle this but at heart he seems a painfully moderate person who is always trying to split the difference. As for the Republicans, you'd have to be an ignorant fool not to have noticed that just two weeks ago they pretty much all voted to keep this sort of garbage going on. Oh, BTW, genius, I only voted for Obama in 2008 and was disappointed in how he wasn't even remotely a liberal so I voted 3rd party in 2012.
