Agreed.
We need more strong-willed people like this gentleman the stand up to the machine.

He's decided to do more as an activist, to wake people up. He wants to make a documentary about the dehumanization of whoever is the latest target of our gov't.

If we call them enemy insurgents, enemy combatants, or collateral damage, they don't matter. We are the good guys, no matter what. Anybody that says different, is anti-American, anti-govt extremist, or at best, a silly conspiracy theorist.
Films cost money, so he is seeking donations to make this happen.

Quote:
More Than Human/Less Than Human will examine the role dehumanization plays in generating consent for war, historically and today. It will examine the history of casting enemies of war and their origin populations as less than human.

Why is there a tendency to characterize “enemy” populations as different or less than? Conversely, why is there a tendency to see those at home as more than human, above the rules, or better than people overseas?

This full-length feature film will take an in-depth look at the forces within society – the media, the government, special interest groups, and the military – that shape perceptions of “us and them.” What powers are at work, and what is the motive? Who gains monetarily and who has an interest in shaping these perceptions?

It will also examine the aspects of human nature that leads people to accept these ideas. What is it within people that allows them to see people “over there” as less than human and those “at home” as more than human? How can we combat these forces and promote a humanistic and accurate view of all people?

These issues and more will be explored through the prism of the director’s own experiences as a 10-year veteran of the military and private defense industry. The film will rely on expert testimony, interviews with everyday people, and scholarly research. It will utilize a fact-based, confrontational point-of-view and will present the truth in a non-partisan light.
