At first I did not see the little boxes to be checked...the math box was unchecked...My first impression was that girls were good at MATH...and in my mind I agreed...that girls were good at math - why not .... It's all in the eye of the beholder. The T-shirt just strikes me as a poorly conceived joke- harmless...and not sexist- What is sexist is the fact that in Canadian universities 80% of the students are now females- why is this not addressed?

I'm not saying you're lying, but I need a source on Michelle Bachmann being more educated than the president.

There was no need for that kind of shirt. It plays too much on the ditzy female. It could be a fun shirt. But yes its stating the girl whom wears it stinks at math. Its not a boy shirt is it? So it is towards females. Poor taste IMHO.

Agreed. It's sad to see how many fools don't know what "ban" means yet continue to post online about banning things.

look up her profile. both have an undergraduate degree and a juris doctorate. bachmann also has her LLM. more years of school=more education. obama went to the better schools, but bachmann still has more education. you can debate the quality all you want.

what lacks substance and insight is your response. it's almost as if you read my post as an isolated post not related to anything said previously.

I'd believe it, but she has the unfortunate habit of opening her pie-hole.

I'm not saying she's smart. I am also not saying obama is smart. I find them both embarrassing.

I not going to read all the foolish posts.
I'm just going to say it would seem to be another "much ado about nothing" issue.
As somebody said in the comments after the original article, if it had been for BOYS, and said "fishing, hunting, watching football" in the checked items, nothing would be said.
Pure BS from a bunch of thin-skinned do-gooders who aren't smart enough to realize that the world doesn't CARE if they are offended over nothing! In fact, much of the world LAUGHS at them. They aren't smart enough to realize THAT, either!
By the way, I have 3 daughters and 6 granddaughters. I would have bought that shirt for any of them when they were young. Not because it was true, but because it is, IMO, humorous.
I hope some other company comes out with a similar shirt. I would buy a few for the younger granddaughters.
