How many other sitting U.S. Presidents have appeared on talk or late night comedy talk shows? You could get to know the facts but dropping the race card is such a better option!

Care to vent more fauxtrage? Look, I'm all for a viable economic recovery and Obama isn't doing half of what he could right now within his power, but blaming this sorely on Obama is being childish and naive.

A politician would be foolish to not take advantage of the media.

Hands down the best/worst was Sarah Palin on SNL.
Palin participated in skits where Tina Fey mocked her. Do you think the thin skinned (insert slang for female anatomy or cat here) Obama would have the guts to do that?

I thought his line about NOT teasing The Wookie was quite funny.

I can see her whipping his narrow little butt for making fun of her

What you are saying is that unless there is precedent, it's unseemly for Mr. Obama to appear on late night TV. Someone must be the first to start a precedent. John F. Kennedy was the first to televise White House press conferences; Truman was the first to fly in an aircraft.

I really don't see any cause for anyone to criticize President Obama for spending a few minutes on the Leno show. Let's just realize it's the right-wing's knee-jerk response to criticize President Obama.

Your ignorance is showing (again). How many people mentioned in the link you posted were sitting Presidents when they appeared on those shows? Let's just realize that when Obama outs himself as the narcissistic jackass that he truly is it's not racism when people comment on it.

BTW: How extensive was TV technology prior to Kennedy's tenure? Also:

A C-54 Skymaster was then converted for presidential use; this aircraft, dubbed the Sacred Cow, transported President Franklin D. Roosevelt to the Yalta Conference in February 1945, and was subsequently used for another two years by President Harry S. Truman.
