So, do you think that a real far-right candidate has any better of a chance? Romney chose Ryan, who is a far-right candidate, to get the far-right base to come out, instead of stay home. What was the result? The mainstream electorate rejected Ryan's ideas and voted for Obama.

That's an "if" that didn't happen. While the losers always claim that they were picked on and were treated unfairly. The reality is that if Romney and his superpack supporters couldn't get their message out after spending $1.2 billion, nothing was going to get their message out. It's not failure to get the message out. It was the message.

Your post is just a talking point. Food Stamps (SNAP) always increases during and after a recession and Obama didn't cause the Great Recession, which was in full force before Obama took office, has a lot to do with that fact. There are 46 million receiving SNAP, an increase of 65% since 2008.

But this increase started in part because of changes in the food stamp program under President George W. Bush, when Congress overrode his veto of the 2008 Farm Bill. That law boosted the purchasing power of SNAP by indexing key elements to inflation. Bush also changed the rule by including SNAP by providing it to disaster victims.

The president is struggling with the aftermath of an economic situation he inherited, while building on food stamp changes that preceded his tenure.

They aren't interest in facts or reality, which is why they will lose again in 2016.

And when the repubs are gone the proggy libs will plain starve if Putin does't just come and kick ass Don. Do you really think girly men will be able to grow food from a cube? Girly men these days don't know what to do with a screw drivers and have no clue what a hammer is for.

I have seen very few female welders, and when I have, they make pretty things.

Yesterday I had to weld up a new fitting made of stainless that had a pin hole leak under 180 psi. Evidently the chinese don't check their work.

I guess the one good thing after the repubs are gone is that proggy libs will get thinner. Just to make a starbucks like coffee they will need to turn back to stone age skills sets and batter coffee beans on rocks with rocks, after roasting them of course. The problem there is with out lighters and matches how will the proggy's make fire?

The black voter turnout was largely driven by a desire to elect the first Black president. According to ABC polls, 96 percent of African American voters were predicted to vote for Obama. Exit polls show that 93% of blacks voted for Obama second time around (95% first time).

Many are still buzzing about "the first black president" as if that were his greatest achievement.

Remember when Arnold Schwarzenegger ran for California governor? Of course he was gonna win. Multiple terms too. The terminator as governor? Heck yeah. Nobody listened to his ideas, all they seen was "arnold schwarzenneger....must vote because he's awesome". Low information voters existed back then too. These aren't just single mothers on welfare. It can be someone who doesn't know a single thing about anything and just votes on what they see. I don't know much about his politics because I don't live in CA but they were one of the top states hit by the recession. Unempoyment was up in the 11-12% range and only now is starting to go down. Huge illegal immigrant population and overflowing with regulation. I know someone there who can't drive his car because it failed a smog test. Cameras and sirens on street poles and the cops hand out tickets like candy. Another tax the tree huggers came up with.

As a Democrat and poster who usually cites facts, evidence and their connection to reality, I would have to say that your post has no merit and is merely 3rd grade level name-calling.
