It's not the same thing and to pretend it is insults black Americans. They are Americans, foreign workers are not.

I am black and the fact that blacks were "Americans" did not prevent the discrimination against blacks for centuries. It looks like the same thing to me....only different targets and perpetrators.

"stupid American" how ironic. I work in IT and had to deal with off shore workers from India. IF anything, they are incompetent. We would get code back and it was poorly written and tested.

I wonder how many of these foreign nurses are qualified and to be honest no I don't trust foreign nurses and doctors because many of their training isn't equal to ours.

What I find troubling is the level of anti American contempt they are indoctrinated with and then come here to serve Americans???? Just because someone has a superior attitude doesn't mean they have earned common respect, especially when, more than one of them refer to Americans as "stupid" which clearly reflects their contempt.

Most immigrants came here NOT because they love American culture or "freedom".
They came here because they can earn 10 times more than in their home country. Period.

Exactly...it's all about the opportunities for most.

I disagree. Many people come here to escape the oppression they face in their home country, ie, Christians facing persecution in Muslim countries. The almighty dollar isn't quite the overriding factor that you think it is. Would you value material possessions over your own personal freedoms? America is, and always has been, the beacon of liberty and justice for all. Is it perfect? No, but better than most anyplace else in the world, and anyone willing to work his ass off can make the 'American Dream' materialize here, just don't expect everything to be handed to you.
