Have you tried applying for SNAP benefits?

There are Millions of eligible Americans that are currently not receiving benefits. Your income and your housing expenses are taken into consideration. Most don't realize that the majority of 18-60 year old SNAP recipients are employed.

If you a consuming more in government services than you are contributing in taxes or work, you are a parasite. Too many parasites kills the host.

A few little facts:

The majority of SNAP reipients work.

Average SNAP benefits amount to about $1.40 per meal.

Corporate welfare/tax loopholes cost this nation many, many times more than social programs designed to assist the less fortunate.

You could, of course, apply this just as easily to corporations as to the poor.

You seem to enjoy parroting the patter of the "Party of No". What's your better idea, that resolves the problem without leaving or placing additional burden on those less fortunate? Or is it your contention that they could just "die in the streets" and that'll be fine with you? Explain clearly, please, what you would have done, that demonstrates the definitively superior moral standing of your perspective.

Why are food stamps necessary at all? Food assistance should be part of disability programs, not something of its own. Explain to me how a healthy grown adult can not be capable of providing food for their family? Their priorities are mixed up and that is all there is too it.

Manpower isn't hiring? Walmart has stopped overnight stocking? The military has shuttered enrollment?
There is no excuse for not being able to afford life sustaining food in this day and age.

33% of Americans are receiving food stamps.
More people get food stamps than work full time.

You have 97 million full time workers.
You have 101 million food stamp recipients.
