I defy you to associate most of those words solely with Conservatives.

Harrier already used all those words in a story, and managed to mock liberals and highlight liberal hypocrisy when they stereotype conservatives.

Why I am surprised Idiot and Moron are not on the list. Who ever created that list is both.

I think the new word for insane will be Democrat.

IE: that nutter in Washington state who blew up his dog is democrat.....

I get that this was shot down, but I have to question why the word slavery was on the list. Don't they teach history in NYC?

Maybe because under American rule of law, slavery only lasted a mere 76 years.
Slavery was really a Euro / ME problem not a USA problem like everyone likes to think.
Slavery still exists to today in the ME and Asia. 2 weeks ago a ME female was busted for holding a slave in california.

Doesn't fit the agenda doesn't make head lines

My gut reaction is that anyone who entertains the idea of banning ANY words doesn't belong anywhere a place of learning.

I don't understand why any of this should be banned. You try and please everyone but in reality you can't. There will always be someone complaining about something.

That's why I said history, and not US history.

That is rather hard to believe, since while slavery existed in the republic for a relatively short time, it had a major and lasting impact on U.S. history, and we have Democrats(who supported slavery and opposed the Civil Rights Act) to thank for that.
