The President's inference to him having a "son" like Trayvon was basically saying that he was a "unarmed" teenager and could have been any kid walking home to his father's house.
Quite a bit different than another teen who is armed and is shooting at cops wouldn't you say?

The "poor decision" was Zimmermann following Trayvon when told not to by the 911 dispatcher and then getting out of his car and confronting him knowing the police were in route anyways.

You have conveniently forgotten that once Zimmerman was asked to return to his vehicle by the dispatcher, he did so, and was subsequently assaulted by Martin en route.
Or perhaps you did know that and intentionally omitted that fact for political purposes.

The old bashing of the head fable. Apparently you do not have enough visualization capacity or have never seen a "bashed" head. The back of Zimmeman's head was the result of a scrape not a bash. His head would have split open like a melon and the contents would have poured out if his fat head took the bashing that he claimed it did.
