Well I never said that but kids are kids and throw tantrums sometimes, act up, etc. especially when waiting aorund bored for their food. So do adults at times. I did name such a place your own kitchen. If not your taking a chance that somebody might dare upset you when your out dining. Going out in public has it's downsides like that. Just like your taking the chance somebody could upset you by looking at you the wrong way in your eyes. Best bet is to stay home.
So I should be a prisoner in my own home because some parents can't be bothered to, oh, I don't know, parent? You're still blowing what I've said way out of proportion. Your mouth has exceeded your ability to back it up. It happens to the best of us. Have the maturity to acquiesce gracefully.
NO you should expect that at times there is a possibility a kid could act up. Just like some adult who acts like an arse when he doesn't get his food in time. Back what up? Common sense? I shouldn't have to back that up with anything.
I am fully aware that LWNJ's have zero respect of private establishments. just look at things like smoking bans. in my opinion, which is never wrong, if she is paying taxes on the land she is operating on, it's a private establishment, and they should be able to run it how they see fit. "public" places are things like libraries, and to a certain extent, malls. places where the public foots the bill for taxes. oh, and if you are going to try to get technical with me, learn to spell "accommodations."

And you know this how? When my kids did make a big mess, we left a large tip.

Are you one of those people? So it is related.
If you think I'm derailing the thread use the "Report" button - which you are very familiar with.
If you don't like what I post, ignore it or better yet, use the "Ignore" feature - which is your friend.
So, this isn't one of those threads.

Personal attack much? It's supposed to be against the TOS. No one is staying you should stay home. Maybe you can find some restaurants that don't serve kids, or that rarely have kids in them. Expensive restaurants generally fit into that category. Going out later fits too. I can remember one time when my kids were fairly young, maybe 3 and 6, we went out to a local restaurant on a Friday night, early, about 5:30. There was a group of adults at a table near us obviously having FAC, and they were very loud and annoying. When their food came, it was better, as they were busy eating, but then when they were done and having coffee (or more drinks, probably), it got very loud again.
The cafe owner has a job- it is not to post pictures on Facebook- part of running a business is to clean the damned place up...The folks eating there whether they be messy kids and adults- payed to eat there. AND he gets paid to keep the place in order...Maybe the owner should stop cleaning tables all together...sounds like a kid hater to me.

Too bad. It's in plain English.
