Oprah Winfrey says racism kept pricey bag out of her hands at Zurich, Switzerland shop - CBS News
Plenty of European nations shared Nazi Germany's hatred of Jews and sub-Sahara Africans. Oprah Winfrey met one of them. Wouldn't let her look at a purse telling Oprah it was too expensive for her.

Denying the Holocaust or starting any Nazi related group/party is illegal and prison in several European countries, including in Germany, Austria, and France.

You could find neo-Nazis everywhere, including in the USA. You could also find racism towards Christians by the Jews in Israel. Racism occurrs everywhere, and not something people can do unfortunately until you make it a crime.

Uhm, so anybody who has some kind of racist thought (or who acts upon racial prejudices) is a Nazi sympathizer? How about we simply stick with the term "racist" for that? You know, given that National Socialism is just a tad more complex than not embracing another race...

The US had some strong Nazi sympathizers as well. Are those who discriminate against blacks today also Nazi sympathizers?

What stupidity is this?

How did you derive this comment from the story? Just curious.

We have plenty of such slime here in the U.S.

Remember the marches in Skokie, IL?

Our right to Freedom of Speech etc. is far more important to us, than the activities of occasional neo-Nazi slimeballs, and cannot be sacrificed just to prevent their activities. Just as our right to Keep and Bear Arms is more important even than the occasional slimeball mass shooter, and cannot be sacrificed to try to suppress them either.

Agreed! There will always be a-holes in the world, from all colors and all walks of life! But we as American citizens should NEVER have to forfeit our rights because of the few a-holes that screw it up for the rest of us!

So what does Oprah have to say about all the blacks who made death threats toward George Zimmerman on Twitter? Or the blacks who made death threats to Riley Cooper for simply using a racial slur?
