Hyperbole? Russia is not a Communist country, nor a dictatorship.

Contrast this current POTUS with Reagan and a real commie dictator Gorbachev. Reagan was dignified and presidential and the results were excellent.

How many embassies did Reagan have to shut down?

Obama is whipping up a new Cold War --- why?

In fact Obama is getting the USA sidelined quite quickly throughout the world. How many embassies has he shut down?

The continuing fantasy of the Reagan Myth No, actually Russia is an Oligarchy under dictatorship rule now.

There's a big difference between "Tear down this wall" and personally insulting another world leader who now is at least nominally considered an ally. After all, it was this administration that made a big deal of hitting the "reset" button with Russia.

Policy differences aside, our President has no class.

How does one insult a POS?

I'll be surprised if we have any allies left when this administration is done.

Ironic because while we're offering asylum right and left to illegals who simply don't like their own country, Obama thinks Americans have no right to be given asylum.

One way is by making fun of his posture and basically calling him a slacker. Any other questions?

ROTFLMAO! If Obama has the audacity to walk, it's "Look at that cocky Bieber-like swagger!"
If Obama has the audacity to smile, it's "Look at that cocky, self-satisfied smirk!"
If Obama is nice, he's "bowing down to foreign leaders!" If he's not, he's "insulting foreign powers and trying to start another war!"
There's not one single thing that man can do or not do without the hyenas going into a feeding frenzy, grasping at the most mundane straws like grim death.
I've never seen such a bunch of sophomoric, sore losers.
It's pretty funny. Carry on.

Obama does all that swaggering and gesticulation like George Jefferson did. "Meechelle, we done moved up to a luxury apartment in DC". LOL. Obama and Michelle are both selfish and in this for themselves, not for the good of the country.

Yes, I was very surprised at this. Even conservative commentators were cheering that on. I cannot see how insulting the leader of another powerful nation is a good thing. It makes us look immature and petulant.

This is the real shame in all of this Democrat against Republican nonsense that's allowed to assume such overpowering scope.

Consider your past and just some of the accomplishments that mean't the difference between basic survival, with some degree of dignity, for some and complete subserviance for others and how the respect for those events have been squandered over the years through brinksmanship and arrogance.

The Berlin airlift is one that comes to mind when the U.S. as principal participant along with various other allies flew basic necessity supplies into that city's inhabitants in total defiance of a country who to all intents and purposes were attempting to starve it's occupants into compliant submission. Those flights epitomized the very tenets of freedom the U.S. was founded upon and gave participating allies pride in the protection of a "higher ideal" in a very real sense.

The "beacon of the west" has never been about bright lights over Vegas and the money that could be made but rather ideals by which other countries were judged as lacking and therefore had to strive to "measure up". That is the real story behind the fall of communism in the USSR.

Obama did not have to dig deep to find any relevant frame of reference by which to fabric a diplomatic rejoinder to Putin over any perceived poke in the eye of the U.S. of A. and instead he lowered himself out of the ballpark by resorting to the personal slight to a vapid and infantile press.

An oblique and tactfully phrased reminder to Putin that the country he enjoys taking pride in today would not exist in it's present form had it not been for the continued Beacon of the West giving them a constant reminder of where they were coming up short. The machinations that resulted in Gorby's having no recourse but to tear down that wall were the stuff of historical legend.

Today the shoe is on the other foot with news item after news item issuing forth from the U.S. of yet another embarrassing governmental intrusion or overreach of some kind. You're becoming your own nighmare.

Getting your house in order instead of slinging rocks at each other in a wasted and unproductively childish fit of pique accomplishes nothing but making you look even more infantile and irrelevant.
