Even though I don't live there, this is impressive. Single coverage at most corps of reasonable size is close to DOUBLE the costs listed.

It is very good, and if you make up to 400% federal poverty level, those costs are subsidized as well. People can finally get a better price deal than what they are getting now. This is why the RNC is so desperate to ruin the ACA, they are finding out that all is not as bad as they made it out to be. Gold is on a downward trajectory, unemployment still on a downward trajectory (yes, even the U6)

I think most people like the exchange concept and analogy of "shopping for insurance as you would shop for airline fares on Orbitz."

What is impressive is not the subsidies-it is that the "full prices" shown are very low, and I read another article that although out of pocket max is high for families, relative to the cost gap (family Ct is around $800-900 vs $1,500+ employer), it is also an excellent value.

We have that now. You can go to Aetna and get individual health insurance. We didn't need Obamacare for that.

Oh did CT only have one insurer for the entire state ?

I wish that the Labor Participation rate for 25 to 54 year olds was on an upward trajectory...at least poverty numbers and those on government assistance are on upward numbers.
