By the way, why Colorado? Isn't Denver one of the most successful big cities in the US? If people in Michigan were not happy about Detroit I could understand, but Denver?!

Those subsidies only exist to make food cheap for the city people.

What "culture" of Native Coloradans?

I keep wondering when people will start realizing that citizens pick their home states...states don't pick citizens. Everyone wants to think that their state is unique...it's s load of self aggrandizing bull. All kinds of people can be found in every state.

And the "blame Californians" nonsense is irksome. I'm tired of hearing it. It's become a Western State cop out...especially up in Big Sky country.

This is just more adult crybaby behavior when they don't get their way.

This is more comparable to Maine splitting off from MA or WV splitting off from VA than the Confederacy. There's a process to do this outlined in the Constitution.

I have an easier, much more practical idea. Why don't you wingnuts move to New Hampshire instead? The chances of CO splitting into two states are in the tenths of one percent

So, it's a symbiosis. After all, are those rural people willing to live without the comforts city people develop and produce?

In my view it is more like dinosaurs that can't take it that mammals are taking over the world

They (I should say "we" being a rural person myself) can live without the cities. The cities can't exist without the food, minerals, timber, etc., from the rural areas. You and other urbanites shouldn't be condescending towards people you depend on to exist.

Yea, I forgot about ME but this still seems silly to me.
