It's worth writing because the younger generation may not be familiar with these facts if they haven't experienced it themselves. Especially if someone is from a higher performance state like that of the North East where it is extremely diverse.

Correct. I fit into the younger bracket and am married to a mixed race spouse. Older generation that would have been frowned upon, as it was for an older family member of mine who married out of race. However, now days that's more common than before, have an in-law that is older in mixed racial marriage. BTW that does account for friendships too.

When are we gonna quit this division crap that feeds a certain few people's agendas and pockets filled with cash?

I don't even know the race or ethnicity of most of my friends. They don't know mine either.

I would say that if they aren't familiar with this, then they don't come from a "higher performance state." Do their history classes pick up in 1970?

I'm not really surprised.

Yeah Hispanics and Asians get along well with Whites. They have high out marriage rates with Whites as well. It's funny that you think something sinister is going on here. Speaks to your narrow world view.

Higher performance state? By what measure(s)? Your answer will be enlightening.

Here in the NYC area, hispanics generally seem to be more in line with Blacks: especially Puerto Ricans.

If you go through areas like the Bronx, Manhattan or on the subway; you will see them chillin out with each other like nothing. I come from a diverse suburban high school and when blacks and hispanics would befriend each other, I would really think nothing of it since it was expected. But when whites and blacks would befriend each other, it would stand out to me.

Most black and hispanics share the same communities in the NYC metro area. While most white neighborhoods stay 85%+ white with a tiny minority of Asians. Just some observations..
