Get ready for it... I wasn't expecting this to happen so quickly either, but Brazil and Argentina are looking to stop using dollars in their trade between themselves.
How stupid, America is the ONLY place that is completely doomed!!!! WE ARE DONE! We have dug a hole infinity feet deep... America is where the ONLY problems are... don't let the Rethuglican Lie Machine Corporation mislead you!
Poor Iceland. I lived there over the summer where it was around 75 kroner to a dollar. In less than 2 months, it's down to around 95 kroner. That's a huge drop.
However, unlike the US, Iceland will probably end up picking up the Euro. The Icelandic kroner really is only in circulation for the 300,000 people of Iceland and the tourists. It's hard to keep up.
What's sad is from all I can tell after studying the Icelandic economy and people all summer, it's entirely not their fault. People in Iceland didn't buy beyond their wealth, absolutely do not live extravagantly (there's little difference between the best house in a town and some of the poorest), and have good financial sense. This is a downfall brought on by being affected by the economic climate at large, not an internal thing.
