The Missouri State Fair imposed a lifetime ban on the rodeo clown whose depiction of Obama getting charged by a bull was widely criticized by Democratic and Republican officials alike.
The rodeo clown won't be allowed to participate or perform at the fair again. Fair officials say they're also reviewing whether to take any action against the Missouri Rodeo Cowboy Association, the contractor responsible for Saturday's event.
But a Democrat depiction of somebody resembling Paul Ryan throwing Granny off a cliff, is perfectly OK.
Where is the outrage liberals when a Sarah Palin effigy was strung up???
I don't think we're outraged that the clown did it. We just understand the motives behind why he was fired. I'm not outraged by the Palin effigy, but if he had faced consequences for it I would definitely understand it.
or don't wear ANY mask. Even beyond the fact that what he did was in bad taste, it was also dangerous. Do you know anything about rodeo? Why would any employee be in with a bull when they can't clearly see what's going on, let alone be there under those circumstances to help support the riders and keep them safe?
Be happy. Like I said the message got sent loud and clear..people got banned and fired.
It will make people think twice before donning that Obama mask if they value their jobs.
My take is you think Obama is a living God..... Obama is a living moron.
I'm a native Idahoan who was born and raised on a cattle ranch. I did nothing but cowboy for the first third of my life.
Make you best guess, Mac. I got the buckle, you got the BS.
Personally I think banning him for life was going a little too far.
I would have fined him and made him do some political charity work FOR Obama.
But if this is what people want today..banning, firing, resignations over a single incident then that is the way society will evolve.
Just don't complain when the other party gets into power and starts throwing their political weight around.
This entire thing is ridiculous. If Obama were any kind of leader he would say hey hold on folks this is out of hand and give this clown a pardon. Instead he is probably yucking it up with his buddies. We don't have a leader in the White House we have a child.

You don't get it. He should never have been wearing ANY MASK. EVER. It's a stupid, dangerous thing to do when you're in with a bull. He should have been fired and banned for that alone--I think the political side of this has been way overplayed. I hear most of the b*tching, moaning and whining about this being a political thing coming from people who didn't grow up around rodeos, and who want to turn this into a completely political thing, and that's the side that's being played up.
Rodeo clowns are there to distract the bull in order to get the rider to safety, etc. It's a serious job. What would you do to a firefighter who showed up on the job in a mask to make some stupid point, and his vision was restricted so he couldn't see what he's doing? This isn't any different.
That's not what he was fired for though. Playing what if doesn't change the situation at hand. Now one has to grow up in a rodeo to comment on a guy fired for wearing an Obama mask at said rodeo? Not just fired but apparently banned for life?
