And who exactly will be issuing certificates to verify an 'authentic self'? Some nutcase psych full up on their social arbiter power?
Again, you infuse mad theories into the heads of wandering woohoos for fifty years, release them out into the world to feel so very self-important and you get madness such as this 'authentic self' nonsense.
Not as funny as the feigned outrage over how anybody would dare disagree with the government about where some transgender student should shower and pee. You go take a shower with em. Drop your soap too while your at it and see if you get a surprise. lol
The tears of the right wing bigots are always worth a laugh.
Do you find humor in the discomfort of kids already and an uncomfortable stage in life? At that age, many are uncomfortable around other kids obviously of their same gender.

Notice how liberals don't care about the safety of the children, it's all about rubbing it in the face of adults who are conservative.
Yeah see unless you give me the specific policy from the school in question, then I'm just gonna go ahead and ignore anything you have to say about the matter.
Then why respond?

Will, not could. People are money hungry, I could even see bogus lawsuits being filed just to obtain some quick $5,000 settlement. Also, what is the state going to do about gender equality for the non-transgendered student? Maybe CA already has equality in that aspect, but what I'm talking about is the female, who identifies as female, but instead of playing softball on the "girls team," she demands equal treatment and wants to play baseball on the "boys team." Why does a biological female who claims to be "male" get the right to play baseball, but not a biological female who claims to be "female?"
This really is nothing more than liberal lawyers/politicians creating future work for their family, friends, and campaign donors, maybe who are in the legal field like themselves. It also helps with the whole diversity thing when it comes to pandering for votes.

No. That is discrimination, and I promise you it will be fought by the fringe element that is out there. Their goal is complete acceptance, and many try to say nudity has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with sexuality. Of course they are wrong, because just because an individual doesn't equate nudity with sexuality doesn't mean anyone else follows the same line of thinking. Unisex bathrooms will likely be deemed "separate but equal." They will say "It was wrong to have done that to African-Americans and it is wrong to do it to transgendered people!" They will complain loudly about "lack of companionship with other teammates" "lack of bonding" etc..
Thankfully this is a small group of wackos and I think you ultimately will be correct on what will happen. I've already seen this in numerous public places like malls and universities. Private, open to anyone, bathrooms. Trust me though, these folks won't be content with "separate but equal."

I am fine with how transgendered people feel, but at the same time, how about a non-trans female(s)? Why don't they get their rights and views protected and upheld? Why is it OK to cast aside their feelings in all this? See, this is part of the problem with "civil rights." We claim that we are moving to protect individual rights, but we don't. We are protecting classes of people, but at the same time, that requires violating another person's rights.
Of course liberals will claim that this is impossible because Harrier is a conservative, so he must "hate women".
Harrier has also been falsely labeled a racist, even though he supported Alan Keyes and Herman Cain when they ran for president, and voted for the current L.A. County District Attorney - who is a black woman.
Liberals can't even use the tired and old excuse "they aren't the right black people" which means that they are black conservatives.
The DA is fairly left wing, but she was the best candidate for the job.
Harrier used the same reasoning when he voted for his one and only Democrat - a female who was elected California controller.
"Logic" is a dirty word in the liberal lexicon.
Attention City Data posters: this thread is now about Harrier and Harrier's voting history.
