Well... CBS wants too much money, so Time Warner said ok we'll pull the plug. SO, here is the problem, it's not a local station for each market, CBS is forcing the contract to carry multiple stations. This means, because the Cable company has to pay a set fee, not just how many customers subscribe to that channel, they are going to include this channel or channels and charge customers.

Each station should have it's own contract, with it's own local carrier, and the contract should be per subscriber, that was we can work towards ala carte pricing.

meh... I don't watch CBS news anyway, and the only time I tune in to CBS to begin with is to watch The Mentalist, The Big Bang Theory and Elementary.

I watch the NFL and that is about it. CBS is almost as progressive as ABC/NBC.

Not sure why this is in this forum. Local stations get pulled regularly - it's a scare tactic. TWC and CBS will figure it out before long.
