I want to appreciate other nations and perhaps live in one, but I have an issue with parents who don't agree. They are pretty right-wing, especially my father figure, and don't openly say that other countries are as good as America it seems. I'm not even a total liberal myself, but I just want freedom of movement. I sound like a traitor to my parents sort of.

That's up to you, kid. There's a difference between wanting to live in another country because you want the experience and wanting to dump your American citizenship because you don't like the guy in the Whitehouse.
There are a lot of people who have dual citizenships. There's nothing wrong with that.
Interesting....At any rate, I don't see anything. "traitorous" here. Unless the OP wishes to take up arms against the US while in a different country, or provide information overseas, with the intent of harming the country or for profit. The definition of "traitor" does not fit anything posted.
