If you disagree with the president, dislike, or hate the president. That's one thing. Everyone has their own beliefs, politically or otherwise and we're not all going to see eye to eye. I used to have a calendar counting down the days until GW left office, so I get not being happy with the man in the oval office.

I'm talking about the continued villainization (which I don't think is a real word). The constant misuse of the word socialist. The constant lying about his background. The name calling, the garbage. And I am not even talking about people on the CD board or just in every day life. I'm talking the right wing propaganda machine. I'm talking the GOP. I'm talking Fox. I'm talking the people who manufacture the nonsense and stir the pot.

My point is, he's on his last term. 2016 is it. He's gone. No more Obama come 2016.

Doesn't it seem like this would be the time for the movers and the shakers of the Grand Ole Party to start building up a stronger party? Why spend so much time lying about the guy Americans voted in twice, and start building up their own party? Spend some time looking to what Americans want in a president and start finding a man or woman within their own ranks who might actually get votes?

Believe it or not this thread isn't meant to argue Obama policies, decisions or anything like that. I'm just so sick and tired of the lies that are so blatantly obvious that are spread around for the purposes of the right wing agenda and I just don't get why they even bother. The man's not going anywhere for another 3 years.
you mean like the left vilified bush? or reagan? presidents get vilified by the opposition ALL the time, and obama is no different. if you dont like it, tough.

What you call vilification of Obama is pointing out how stupid his policies are... I find that funny that you think we should ignore Obama's stupidity... It will take years to undo his damage to this nation because a large group of stupid people can't see 2 seconds ahead of them...

Y'know, as a person who frequently HAS to "mouth-breath" to get enough air, due to COPD, I find this term VERY offensive!
Perhaps you think it is cutesy, or politically demeaning, or something, but in reality it is low class, unfeeling, cruel, and again, just simply OFFENSIVE!
How about you do those of us who have medical problems which require us to breathe through our mouths a HUGE favor, and just knock it off!

Am I really "the left"?

I asked a simple question, that most people have ignored. Why lie?

Oppose, argue, get upset about FACTS, but why lie?

As I said, I get it when he was in his first term, afterall the right had to try to beat him in 2012, but they failed. He'll never run again. Why continue lying about him? That's all.

Benghazi is a real issue.

Liberals Obama supporters only try to minimize the damage done because it makes President Obama look bad.

Why does the right still feel the urge to villainize the President?

Why did the left feel the urge to villianize Bush?

Many of us endured the same things from the left when President Bush was in office.

We still hear about him nearly 5 years after he left, with BO being one of the major offenders.
