The officer's thought he was flipping them off. At least that's what reports are saying.

I've never seen an officer pull over a biker for running a stop sign and I biked every day for 3 years and still bike when I can.

The video conveniently starts after the arrest. As you can see from the video, the firefighter was very respectful and humble in the video.

In addition. The officer arrested the man after he tried to make a phone call. Running a stop sign is a non arrestable offense.

Cop cleared after pointing TASER at off-duty firefighter

The 10 minute video that surfaced shows the two men arguing intensely over the way the situation was handled, with Madison at one point saying “the only thing that anyone wants is to be treated like a mother f***ing human.”

The video shows the aftermath of the initial altercation, where Madison says he waved at two police officers when they turned in front of him at an intersection. The officers thought he flipped them off, according to the police report.

**You can read some Police officer's responses to the incident at the bottom of the link. Will give you the mindset of some of our Police.

Is it illegal to flip off an officer?

I know you can't stare at them the wrong way. But can you flip them off?

I say throw the tough guys in jail or either remove their badge and lets see how tough they are.
