All because the two police officers thought the guy had given him the finger. And what if he had? That deserves being detained by the police?

“The officer jumped out and says, ‘What are you doing throwing your hands up at us?’” Madison said. “He is talking to me as he is coming toward me. I tried to explain, but I couldn’t get a word in edgewise. . . Before he knew it, Madison said, the officer had his stun device out.

“It was literally maybe inches from my face,” he said. “I immediately threw my hands in the air. What he asked me to do I was more than willing to do. I said ‘Please don’t hurt me.’ The next thing I know I’m laying down the ground and they cuffed me.”

Keep your eyes down and your hands in your pocket.
Else be deemed an enemy of the state.

DHS spent a lot of money giving paramilitary training to our local LE's.
We are all potential terrorists and are being treated as such.
Guilty until proven innocent.

That is appalling. I feel the victim is being more than generous by stating that he does not really want the police officer involved to lose his job or pay. Yet, if the facts are as presented, that is what should exactly happen.

Exactly.

I've been in his shoes and felt that way. Not any more. First time I struck it up as just bad luck. Second time made me believe there are internal issues in our Police force.

I don't like bullies. Especially ones who hide behind badges.

The firefighter was arrested and threatened over a non arrestable offense.

I don't know how running a stop sign on a bike should warrant you getting tasered.

I think we all know that it's critically important to just get one side of the story before launching into a tirade.
