The Higher crime rates could be due to the drug trade. The only stable economy in some neighborhoods.

Many black men have had their futures tarnished due to drug laws.

You mean white collar crime.

How many lives have been ruined due to the financial crisis? Are the 2 priests ok?

I'd say the fraud had a much broader impact. The suspects were never punished.

Watched a bit of the video and the way one of the robbers walked struck me as weird...His body language was one of sheer pride and arrogance...He struts like some idiot thinking that what he is about to do is so cool....I do admire one of the priests who refused to grovel on the ground..refused to give up a few bucks and said to the robber "Shoot me"....I guess the idiot was unfamiliar with faith and the confidence it provides....I wonder what the fool must have thought..."This guy would rather die than submit to me and my gun....what the hell is that about?"

What these idiots did not realize was if they would have approached the priests and said...I* am hungry can you give me a few dollars....They probably would have gotten the money with out having to face a 20 year prison term- Not very smart.

We've heard this over and over. It's nothing new. I suspect the only reason you are posting this is to complain about Blacks. It isn't solving any problems. Present something that might actually solve some problems.

Actually, you didn't answer my question. I asked you "How does one's race make them prone to commit crimes"? HOW does one's race make them become a criminal? You aren't answering it,you are merely sidestepping the question.

By your logic, minorities with an education and a great job are out there robbing people too, and white people don't commit crimes. That's complete baloney. When I lived in the Ozarks, there was a lot of really desperate rural poverty, AND a lot of drug use, meth labs and other types of crime. That population was about 99.9% white. Try again.

Society has not been addressing the problem. Society has merely been throwing bones at the problem. Welfare isn't working. Prison is not working the way it should. There have been no lasting solutions. Just short-time fixes. Yes victims are victims. I've been a crime victim myself, at the hands of both Black men and White men. Stereotyping doesn't solve any problems either. It provides no lasting solution. And it certainly does not help this Black man(me). I have a hard enough time without having to deal with people like you.

Yes, I meant white collar crime.

I'd rather have my life savings stolen from me than my life. No contest there.

Comparing the two is stupid.
