Have you ever tried the beers in Utah? You have complete, personal knowledge of the alcohol content of all of the brews? Or are you just displaying your ignorance again?
I have, and I have had better. I have been through Utah before and I currently have a friend that has been living there the past year and hates the beer there because it is either weak or expensive.

the beer there is not weak, as I mentioned earlier today. not expensive either.
That and massive oil shale and Natural Gas deposits will make the state a power house for decades to come, also long as they keep the destructive nature of big state government at bay, they will do great..
This is simple the world is a complex place. There is no all encompassing political or economic ideology that can explain everything or that guarantees success everywhere.
There is nothing to explain with Utah. It is a unique place in America, highly religious, small population by state standards, but a relatively high quality of living.
The world doesn't exist to exactly fit some narrative about how things have to be.
Yes...one of them. Vast open states with low populations are generally considered less desirable than the more densely populated ones. See housing values as an instance.
That's silly. Real estate values have nothing to do with density per se. Detroit is denser than Salt Lake City and homes on average are valued less in Detroit than Salt Lake City. Some of you really need to read stuff other than Daily Kos.

It's funny how people think I was referring to political ideology. Plenty of GOP controlled states that fair poorly compared to Utah. Notice the things Utah lacks in relation to other states, teenage pregnancy & abortions.

That's what I was getting at not politics per se.
The same model cannot be duplicated across the Nation, simple as that.
