Very loyal to his homeland, I see. Willing to sell his heritage for power. I'm sure he feel differently about America.
I think that Cruz spent most of his life here so why would he be loyal to Canada? Besides he held citizenship here also. Heritage? He's Hispanic and it has nothing to do with the country he was born in.
Popular in both parties?
Buddy, go home and sleep it off. Cruz is as popular as a rattlesnake in a torn gunny bag everywhere except Texas.
He's not that popular in Texas! He believes too many conspiracy theories, and panders to a very small portion of the Republican party. He is not moderate enough to win a national election, even though he could win primaries due to the far right turn out that would support him. Let him run though, it will be entertaining to see what happens to him after he is run through the national political machine.
Yeah, what's up with that? One of the birthers' more asinine claims is that Obama used an alias through much of his life early life. What was that alias, you ask? Barry. I wish I could say I was kidding, but that's honestly one of their assertions. (Yeah, they really are that stupid.)
Now birthers' usual nonsense aside, Barry is a natural nickname for Barack, but how do you get Ted out of Rafael? Something fishy going on here...

Why in the world would liberals be afraid of a person that only gets 37 percent approval in Texas? There's a good chance Cruz doesn't even see a 2nd term. He is not liked in his home state. He's a jerk.
I for one would like to see a serious candidate come from the GOP. Cruz, Palin, Bachman, etc. are a distraction from serious issues. I honestly believe that some of these politicians do this just as a promo for future employment and notoriety. I can think of at least 3 GOP candidates that did not belong on the stage in 2012.

The rookie poster, with 2 posts, speaks.
He is doing exactly what he said he would do, to get elected. Elected against all odds, too.
I live here and he gets way more than 70% approval.
