Read the poll--they pressed numbers on a phone dial to answer. That said, it could be satire like Northnut said. You have to HOPE that it's satire anyway. Sadly, it may well be the real deal, lol.

Lower left corner of the survey - "survey of 274 Republican primary voters"

29% say it was Obama's fault. - That's about 80 people.
44% say they were unsure - That's 120 people.

"Significant chunk of Louisiana republicans"... - Naaaahhhhh...

Pardon me but how on earth could even 80 people blame Obama for Katrina response? Truly, you must be able to answer that. If you can't see how completely effed up that is, then I don't know what.

Not too familiar with poll sampling theory and associated techniques, huh?

What I do understand is polling a small number of people and extrapolating it to mis-represent a large group of people.

Don't tell me it's a significant chunk of the state when you poll 274 people.

Then it's a great joke.

IBginnie is right and so were you--the poll isn't on the PPP site. It's still really funny.

I come from a family chock full of Louisiana GOP'ers. They're great people and I love them all, but if I were to ask them if Obama was responsible for the 1927 Flood and the Lake Peigneur disaster, the answer would invariably come back yes.

Sample size of 274 has margin of error around 6%.
